Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (ACPNP)

Program Overview

Pediatric Nurse Practitioners specializing in acute care are advanced practice registered nurses who provide expert care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with complex, acute, critical, and chronic health conditions. This program prepares students to deliver high-quality, family-centered care in fast-paced environments such as pediatric intensive care units, emergency departments, and inpatient specialty services.

Students will gain the knowledge and clinical experience necessary to assess, diagnose, and manage pediatric patients with acute and life-threatening conditions, while also learning to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
