Purpose:

The Advanced Fetal Care Center at MUSC is designed to support mothers and families faced with pregnancies complicated by a prenatal diagnosis that requires treatment during pregnancy or after delivery. The AFCC team is committed to optimizing the outcome of mothers and their babies in a family-centered environment. Specifically, Dr. Cormack’s role as a perinatal palliative care provider is to honor patient and family values as they navigate receiving difficult news and help guide decision-making before and after birth.
