Hi, my name is Dajihnee Thompson and I'm the current student recruiter at the College of Nursing at MUSC. Have you ever been interested in the College of Nursing,

00:02

or recently got accepted? Well, here's your virtual tour. If you can't make it to our campus right now, here's an opportunity for you to see

00:10

what the College has to offer. We are currently in the Greenway, where this is a hub for students, faculty, staff can come

00:17

and enjoy food trucks, hang out, get some fresh air. Rather than being inside all day, and enjoying what Charleston has to offer.

00:24

Right here, we have the Institute of Psych Mental Health, where some of our nursing students have their clinicals, and on my left we also have our public safety department.

00:31

So this is where you'll go for your first day to find your badge. If you have any questions concerning safety,

00:41

or if you just want to get to know the public safety team just a little more, you are welcome to come.

00:46

We are currently located in front of the University Hospital, MUSC hospital, where some of our students have the opportunity to come to the hospital

00:51

and get a feel of what it's like to be a registered nurse. We have some of our students that do their clinicals at this hospital,

00:59

which is pretty neat, because most schools don't have a hospital attached to their university. We are currently located in our James W Colbert Education

01:05

Center and Library where you can find some study areas right behind me. There's also a PJ's coffee, so if you're ever interested in some coffee

01:13

in between classes, you know where to come. Oh, hi. You're currently located in our sim lab where our students come to understand the equipment

01:21

that they'll be using on a day-to-Day in their nursing career, as well as work with our high fidelity sim.

01:29

Not only do you have the opportunity to work with our high fidelity sims, but we also have high fidelity baby sims.

01:34

So if you're ever interested in pediatrics, we also have the opportunity for you to learn more. Right behind me is MUSC, Sean Jenkins Children's Hospital.

01:42

It is one of the best children's hospital in the southeast. Most of our students have their women's health as well

01:51

as pediatric clinicals here. We are currently in our learning lab, where professors conduct multiple demos for our current students, as well

01:58
