In January 2024, MUSC College of Nursing kicked off a complete renovation of its first floor to create a new area dedicated to learning and innovation for students. “This completely reimagined space will be a game-changer for collaboration, recruitment and engagement across the college,” said Catherine Durham, DNP, APRN, Dean of MUSC College of Nursing. “We plan to debut this sparkling new space by the end of the year, just in time to be part of MUSC’s Bicentennial celebration. 2024 is going to be an incredible time for MUSC and our college.”
Highlights from the project include the following:
The $2.5M project consists of approximately 11,000 gross square feet renovation of the existing first floor, which formerly hosted the MUSC Simulation Center, now located in the James W. Colbert Education Center and Library.
