Dr. Hannah Kendrick is an Instructor in the MSN/DNP program at the Medical University of South Carolina. She earned her BSN from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her MSN/DNP from Georgetown University.
Dr. Kendrick began her nursing career at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC, and later at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX, where she specialized in the care of women and children. After completing her graduate studies, she transitioned into the advanced practice role at MUSC Children’s Health (formerly Coastal Pediatric Associates), where she continues to provide primary care to children throughout the Lowcountry.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Kendrick has volunteered as a Nurse Practitioner at a local free clinic, delivering comprehensive primary care across the lifespan.
Her scholarly interests center on the second victim phenomenon. She is deeply committed to promoting workplace well-being and has led initiatives to implement second victim support programs through health information technology, expanding access to support services in hospitals nationwide.
Dr. Kendrick is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Her clinical interests include primary care, general pediatrics, allergy/asthma/eczema, second victim support, and nursing education.
